Depuis 2016, il a sorti deux projets, publié de nombreux singles et collaboré avec des artistes tels que <a href="https://pan-african-music.com/draganov-tabac/">Draganov</a> ou <a href="https://pan-african-music.com/nessyou-buffalo/">Nessyou</a> pour ne citer qu’eux. </p> <p class="has-text-align-justify">Avec « Iori 3 », en référence au personnage de la série de jeux vidéos The King of Fighters, Iori Yagami, on retrouve Negaphone à la production. Pendant plus de deux minutes, le rappeur marocain multiplie les schémas de rimes sur une instrumentale plutôt soulfoul. Associée à la beauté du darija, la composition impose une rythmique trap en revêtant un sample vocal d’une profonde intensité, suivi d’un saxophone délicieux.</p> <p class="has-text-align-justify">Entre héritage du grain et de la chaleur musicale qu’apportent les samples de soul et de jazz, ainsi que l’utilisation d’une rythmique trap et d’un flow contemporain, Mons synthétise ses influences avec justesse en signant le mixage du morceau. </p> <p class="has-text-align-justify">Cependant, cette aisance à synthétiser ses influences américaines ne saurait cacher la singularité de sa musique que l’on retrouve dans son dernier projet, <em>Têtu</em>, sorti le 11 décembre.
